2018 Taipei International Auto Show
The recently concluded 2018 Taipei International Auto Show was held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, occupying the first and fourth floors of the enormous building from 30 December 2017 to 7 January 2018. Visitors, both local and international, had the chance to see and feel for themselves the new car models from auto makers like Volkswagen, Mercedes, Subaru, Honda and Mitsubishi to name a few.
It wasn’t just new cars that were in the spotlight. Auto makers like BMW, Mini Cooper, Mercedes, Nissan and Toyota showed off their concept cars as well. The 2020 Nissan GTR was certainly a show stealer for us, as the design when seen in person was absolutely amazing. The new Ford GT was also on display and certainly wowed visitors.
SKODA, in bringing their advertisement campaign to life, had two of their ambassadors doing the Coincidance. Subaru launched their new collision detecting technology, Eyesight, across all of their car models at the show as well.
Certainly another aspect of car shows are the female models, or some would call ambassadors. And there were plentiful! The ones that caught our eyes the most were at the Toyota, Nissan, Kia and Mitsubishi booths. We were not sure if it was Kirara Asuka herself who made an appearance at the Harley Davidson booth, but some visitors certainly think (or knew) it was her and took loads of wefies with her.
